For more than 20 years, the teachers, students and families of Thousand Waves have been creating a community that promotes health and fitness, personal empowerment, violence prevention and active peacemaking through traditional martial arts, yoga/fitness, and self-defense programs for adults, teens, and youth. Members apply skills and principles learned at Thousand Waves to transform their lives at home, school, work and in public spaces.

Community Partners are local businesses that share Thousand Waves commitment to creating a more peaceful and healthy world. In exchange for their financial support, Community Partners gain access to Thousand Waves 400+ receptive members as well as their families and friends. Our current partners range from one of the city's largest banks to a local dentistry practice, from a music school to a landscaping enterprise.
