Junior Seido Karate

The Thousand Waves Junior Karate program is tailored for children in the first and second grades.  We provide a positive classroom environment for children to learn the mental and physical elements of Seido Karate, while improving fitness, concentration and coordination, and develop the social skills of cooperation and respect.  Children build strong healthy bodies along with self-discipline, confidence, and social skills through the study of Seido Karate.

Beginner Classes for Juniors

• Monday:  3:45 - 4:30 pm
• Wednesday:  3:45 - 4:30 pm
• Friday:  3:45 - 4:30 pm
• Saturday:  10:15 - 11:00 am

As a member, you are not locked into a set training schedule, and can vary which classes you come to from week to week.

Call us to schedule an appointment to take a free trial class to try it out.  You will be in a small group with other visitors and our newest members, and an instructor will take you through the basics and answer any questions about our center and its programs.  It is necessary for a parent or guardian to be present during the trial class.

Fees

We offer two monthly dues plans depending on how many classes you want to take. We also offer two methods of payment: auto-pay and non-auto-pay (details here). If you authorize us to draw your monthly dues automatically from a bank account or credit card, it's both more convenient, and discounted.

We have a scholarship fund for families that need financial aid in order to participate.

Membership

Joining entails making a two month commitment, and paying two months of fees up front.  In addition, you will need to get the Registration Packet ($85), which includes a uniform, Seido Karate patches, and a one-year membership in the World Seido Karate organization.
