Soji Biannual Dojo Cleaning

Together, we can return all spaces in our dojo to a clean and beautiful state.  

Soji is part of our training – by taking care of our training space, we give back to the dojo that gives us so much.  Many hands make light work!

Time slots are flexible – no more than an hour in most cases.  Sign up for multiple slots!  Sign up for early slots so you can participate in Sunday classes! Please note that the 10:00 AM White Belt and Blue to Black Belt classes will begin at 11:00 AM on Sunday March 15th and the 11:00 AM Blackbelt class is cancelled.

  1. Clear out and wipe out lockers with disinfectant
  2. Organize supply shelves and wipe down; and clean mirrors with windex
  3. Vacuum under lockers, sweep, mop floor with disinfectant (and rinse)

  1. Start top to bottom
  2. Scrub Shower Ceiling, walls, floor, fixtures
  3. Wipe ceiling vents, lights, vacuum/wipe locker tops
  4. Scrub Toilets, sink, fixtures & walls around sinks and toilets
  5. Safety/Maintenance check of fire alarm (replace batteries and test)

Floor Mats Crew

  1. Deep cleaning floor mats from the main floor viewing area with hose, cleaning agent(s), and floor brush
  2. Dry (air or rag) and return to viewing area
