Two weeks of Thousand Waves Summer Camp Fun with the most popular black belt and junior black belt counselors and teachers—includes…
- Karate classes in the morning and outdoor recreation at the lakefront in the afternoon
- Special, kid friendly martial arts activities such as tournaments, circuit training, nunchaku and board breaking
- A full day at Mystic Waters Water Park
- Chess and checkers tournaments
- The older campers, 7th and 8th grades, are “counselors in training.” They receive leadership training from me and have special responsibilities and privileges at camp. And they wear the coveted CIT t-shirt!

A JuJuBee Tournament! The kids’ favorite afternoon team game will be played all of week 2!
It’s my favorite time of year. I get to know the kids better and have more social opportunities to teach our philosophy of non-violent conflict resolution, inclusivity, respectful communication and cooperation.
The camp is for our own students and for kids who have never studied karate.
Scholarships are still available.
I hope to see your children and any of their friends in our summer camp.
